Mr. Nobody is a drama film with very strong aspects of science fiction and romance and very little action. It is one of those films to which you need to give all your attention while you're watching it, but it'll probably be worth it. The film is composed of lots of little stories and sub-stories centred around the protagonist, which might seem a little confusing at first, but it is generally very well handled, and there are several details designed to help the viewer understand how the film works. The beginning might seem a bit slow, however. The structure seems a bit hectic, but it works. It is mainly a wide range of interlacing motives, and their order doesn't seem to matter too much, which actually supports the film's aim. Perhaps, the downside of this film is the length. It is two and a half hours long, but it easily could have been reduced to much less and still get the message across. Perhaps even better, since the length dilutes the effect. We could speculate that Mr. Nobody could have been better, but it is still an excellent piece of work and should be seen.
