Dungeons & Dragons

Dungeons & Dragons is an interesting film. It will make you expect the worst, and then it will make you pleasantly surprised.

This film is heavily focused on the story, and there is very little happening in it otherwise. The story is, however, very captivating and well put together. The structure is tight and it makes the plot flow smoothly from the beginning to the end. The actors can be, for the most part, proud of their work, because they manage to draw the viewer in completely, despite the film's various deficiencies.

One of these shortcomings is the fact that despite the relatively high budget, the film-makers displayed very little effort in trying to make the filming locations look believable. A good example of this would be a scene in which we see a stone wall containing large chunks of concrete. You can get away with it in the modern world but not in the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Additionally, the ending seems a bit confusing, but that probably adds to the film's innocence and charm.

Overall, Dungeons & Dragons is nothing special, but it is surprisingly fun to watch. If you're looking for an anti-stress adventure film, this might be just what you need.
